Production Manager

The position is responsible for managing our production department to provide direction and leadership to our team to optimize productivity and address areas of concern. This position must be able to establish and maintain a positive working environment and instill a culture that is centered on our core values, which emphasizes teamwork, accountability, safety and wellness.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage personnel, and possess a proven track record of implementing process improvements with-in a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Promote and ensure a safe working environment, while supporting our safety teams initiatives and effectively investigating all safety incidents to avoid future occurrences.
Administer company policies consistently and adhere to all company and governmental policies and regulations.
Coach, mentor and supervise production personnel to bring out the best attributes in all our employees to effectively position our organization for success.
Interact with our maintenance and engineering departments to optimize and sustain our equipment's performance and mechanical reliability.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve production efficiencies, to optimize thru-put and reduce operating costs using tools such as Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and other process improvement techniques.
Effectively communicate and make metrics visible for Productivity, Scrap, Quality and Housekeeping, while leading and/or supporting our continuous improvement efforts to improve our operational performance.
Qualifications
Management and leadership skills are essential with a proven ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse group of employees.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
Must be self-motivated and able to work within a team.

Able to multi-task and work independently to execute and meet project timelines.
Solid mechanical knowledge, including machine operation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs.
Computer skills and Analytical abilities are required.


A bachelor's degree in business management, paper-science, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will be familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures. 3 - 5 years of job related experience is beneficial. Our company we consider candidates that are furthering their education with related work experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
