Job Description Kelly Services is seeking temp-to-hire Warehouse Associates in Stevens Point, WI.
Shift starts at 3:
00 PM to 12:
00 AM with rotating weekends.
Pay is $12/hour.
Must be able to work over time and weekends.
Job
Summary:
Responsible to receive, stage, and put-away inbound product with emphasis in safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
Also responsible for picking and placement of product to accurately fulfill orders for shipping while maintaining accurate inventory.
Build loads to proper cubes for efficient identification and loading of shipping containers and trucks.
Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, and high lifts, etc.
).
Accomplish job duties in a -10 F environment.
Job Duties:
1.
)Read and organize pick lists to facilitate accurate order fulfillment.
2.
)Follow established procedures to pick product from freezer to maintain accuracy of inventory.
3.
)Perform routine cycle counts of products in assigned room and notify Supervisor or Team Leader of variances.
4.
)Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner which does not cause damage to product, equipment, or facility.
5.
)Perform product put-away, transfers, and relocations.
6.
)Read and organize check sheets to identify special product instructions and determine the number of pallet spaces needed for each order and route.
7.
)Verify proper product codes, quantity, and lot numbers for customer orders and production work orders.
8.
)Verify product is in good condition and that proper pallets in good condition are used.
9.
)Properly label each pallet built for customer orders.
10.
)Assure proper personnel are notified when there are product shorts.
11.
)Verify proper product and pallet counts when loading product on containers or trucks.
12.
)Perform other duties as assigned, not limited to housekeeping/janitorial duties.
Requirements Previous Highlift (Preferred) or Forklift experience required Ability to follow instructions Ability to read and write English Ability to lift 75 lbs Attention to detail Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to analyze and solve problems Ability to work for extended periods in a cold environment (-10 F).
